Very nice Alan. Welcome and thanks for joining. Beautiful boat. It's amazing that this hull is still being produced after nearly 50 years.

Alan, how fast is your Formula with the twin 225's?

Yes, I the 233 likes a lot of bow lift so I bet your setup works well. I'm making a few changes to mine this year and will post up on the results.

Well, I would like it to be focused on the 233. The 242 owner mistakenly thought he either had a 233 or that the site was for 242. Anyway, anyone interested in 233's is welcome. As for your sportfisherman I'd love to see it and what you have planned for it.

COOL MATE THANK,S. I ALSO HAVE A MARINE REPAIR BUSINESS IN QUEENSLAND, I AM A DIESEL FITTER AND ALSO HAVE A WORKSHOP FULLY EQUIPPED FOR DOING STAINLESS WORK AND ALUMINIUM AND THROUGH NECESSITY HAVE BECOME QUITE EXPERIENCED WITH FIBREGLASS. I TRADE AS COASTAL MARINE REPAIR. I HAVE A GOOD MATE WHO ALSO OWNS A FIBREGLASS SHOP HERE, HE RECENTLY MADE A MOULD FOR A HULL EXTENSION FOR THE 233, THEY HAVE FITTED THE FIRST ONE AND THE OWNER IS WRAPPED WITH IT. I HAVE MADE MINE FROM 6MM ALUMINIUM WITH AN ENDLESS SUPPLY OF GUSSETS INSIDE. IF U EVER NEED ANY STAINLESS GIVE ME A SHOUT.
CHEERS DAN.

Hi Allan, it's a small world as I have heard of you and your awesome boat. i hear it is like showroom and a true master peace. You complete;ly restored it correct?? A few guys I fish against in the big comps mentioned to me how good your work is and your knowledge of the 233 uncontested here in Australia. I will be completely restoring my girl one day and will definitely be contacting you to do the job. Nice to see another Aussie legend on the site. Hey let's meet up for a fsh one day. take care mate. Hoo roo Matt

Cheers Al, yep i heard you were gonna be involved somewhere along the lines with the Edencrafts !
then peoples stories changed.
The information was like giving a kid a lollypop,
then taking it away from him !! hahahahahahah
Thats unreal, i feel totally heartened to know that the breed will strive, and now not only back in Vic,
but will be built damn properley too,.
Let me know when its all up n running,
i'll put the word out, and i'll pop in, ..
and to think i was up there in Breakwater Geelong today...
Truck driver !!
My usual luck i guess..

ps. by any chance, in the stack- of moulds...
is there one of the rear transom well section like Harry's type?
aaaaaaaaaaaaaand is there a mould for the windscreen like mine..ie wave breaker twin screen, not the tripple..
Always worth asking !!

And thanks for givin me ya no. too Al..
Regards
John Bananna
