Formula 233 Registry

The premier site for owners of the famous 233.

Thanks for all the nice feedback.  The windshield was an incredible amount of work.  Let it be said that boat projects, fiberglass fit and finish is what I do full time.  This boat took me five years of all my spare time and money.  I love this boat and it gets a lot of attention everywhere we go.
The windshield was shaped from nida core panels and glassed over heavily leaving a recess for the glass to sit in.  The glass sits flush in the frame and is wet set with Sikaflex.
If enough interest existed I would consider making a mold to produce these windshields as a part.  One off forming, glassing, shaping, fairing, and finishing is not the way to do this work.  Now that one is made, a mold could be made and parts made from the mold at fraction of the hours.  A few would have to be made to justify the tooling cost.
I have an idea of building another 233 and making it a 27 like the first Donzi.  So, I'm interested in making a mold of the windshield and outboard bracket for another build.  Thanks.
