I'm in the Southern Adirondacks. Was hoping I would get around to restoring the boat but it's not going to happen and I've spent thousands and thousands on storage. No idea what the boat is worth. In 2015 I put 2400 into the outdrive and new controls. 3 weeks later the bilge pump float switch jammed and water went in the dip stick tube. Switch must have become free from wave motion or something, drained all the water out and I ran the boat Without realizing there…

Switch must have become free from wave motion or something, drained all the water out and I ran the boat Without realizing there was water in the crankcase. It's been sitting in indoor storage ever since. Has the rare, short, blacked out windshield. Needs to be reupholstered but the floors seem solid. I believe the entire boat to be solid but don't actually know how to check the stringers. It's a 350/260 with Alpha. Performer intake 600 Holley glm manifolds, through hull exhaust and ss mirage prop. 49 on GPS loaded with gear and 75 gallons of fuel. The Cuddy is still in nice shape and really didn't get used. Original porta potty is still in the wrapper underneath. Decent stereo and nice double axle roller trailer. Make offer. Will consider trade for anything that doesn't eat. I'll try to add pictures this weekend.

Hi!

I am searching for the Formula emblem from the 233 70's line, the one with cursive text and a somewhat smaller bird. I am overthinking to strip her down of her stripes and make her a little more elegant.

I have found some on ebay but they only make the birds. I would want to know if the cursive text fits mine as well. You can see the emblem and text I am looking for in the picture below.

I don't want to junk this piece in case someone is looking for it. I am not installing it as I am making the boat into a day cruiser.

A buddy has a 1968 Formula 233 and was wondering what it might be worth.

The hull is sound with normal hazing of the surface gelcoat. A few bumps here and there, but no significant damage. The rub rail around the upper perimeter has a couple of slight dings.

All the glass and fittings are in good shape

The interior carpet needs replacing, but the plywood decking all seems solid - though a fairly weathered. The bifold door into the cabin is about the same.

I has had a 400 small block transplanted with an Edelbrock Performer intake and a couple of other performance upgrades. Engine has a few hundred hours on it.

The biggest issue - other than needing a good cleanup and restoration - is the out-drive. It has a broken shaft.

So would anyone be interested in this boat, and if so, about what would it be worth in the conditions described?
