I rescued this boat in 2008 from a Marina in Bay Shore, LI, NY, and have been slowly restoring it. But after a relocation to Boston for work, I have just not had the time or facilities to finish it, and now it's time to pass the torch. I do not want to junk it, because it really is a gorgeous boat and the hull is pristine compared to most of the others I've seen. It is currently located in Islip NY.
Most of the dirty work has been done. The hull damage has been repaired and painted with Brightside above the waterline and West Marine on the bottom.
The interior/bilge has been stripped/scrubbed, the motor and outdrive are gone (it was a Yamaha Interdrive 454, and parts were impossible to get), and the decks have been cut out to expose the stringers and fuel tank (which has been almost completely drained of the old gas).

webbcamm@gmail.com, I have many more pictures of the boat, as well as the repairs that were done.
I am incredibly depressed about not being able to finish this job, but I'm hoping she finds a good home with someone else. So if you love old boats and Don Aronow hulls, it could be right up your alley.
