Are The 1970's 233 Hull's The Same?

I have a 1971 233 and need a trailer.  There are some available for 233's of different years.  (Same length of course).  So my question is, are the hull shapes the same?  If so then my 71 will fit just fine on a trailer for a 76 or a 79 correct?  Any input?

Hi Ron, All the 233's have the same hull, it's only the top deck that differs between years and models. I am looking at changing out my trailer also, but am leaning towards an aluminium one as to reduce the towing weight. Just curious to know what you are looking at and what other people have done in the past? Is alloy better than galvanised, what brands are better for the 233's?

I think any major brand is OK.  the main thin I discovered is to make sure the bunks fit or are adjustable.  I think 233 have a steeper dead rise than a lot of other boats.  I was looking for galvanized but alloy would be great.
