SWIM PLATFORM (Silent Thunder)
Has any one ever installed 4 inch gill exhaust tips attached to the silent thunder swim platform?? I am looking to do this, I want the big block exhaust sound along with the swim platform. The biggest problem I see is how to cut a not so ugly access hole along with a replacement cover plate that allows me to get the clamps over the hose?? I have a plan but thought maybe someone else may have already done this?? If so any shared ideas would be nice. Thanks.

Jim, I'm not sure what exactly you are asking. I did install 4" exhaust over my platform but without silent choice system. Maybe pictures would help clarify.

My platform is made of fiberglass and bolted to the transom, I would like to have the tips go thru my platform and exhaust. I would like to se a pic of what you did if you could send me some? Thanks for the reply, Jim

David, Thanks for your interest, You have a Teak platform and mine is made of fiberglass. Your tips really look good though. If I had the same platform that is what I would do for sure.After taking my boat out this past weekend, I am now just looking to add 2 more of the factory Silent Thunder tips. The more I thought about cutting my platform and having to add a acess panel, I think I'm gonna pass on that. If you know of anyone that has some factory tips, Please refer them to me, Thanks, Jim
