the top of the boat is a a slightly diffrent shape

Im not sure but I have seen what I thought were a few Formula clones over the years.  One was next to our boatyard and it was almost identical but was another name I forget.  The guy told me it was another company and the name was on the side too.  Also there are a few that are very similar like a John Allmand and several others.  Very curious myself to know what these boats are and how they differ.  Also how the Formula years differ in design.

Wish we could start making a list of these things on here for people to refer to.  I will help anyway I can !......Ed.

Has anyone looked at one of these lately?... http://www.albemarleboats.com/trailerable/248XF.html

They've been producing this hull since the mid 1980's. Topsides have changed a bit over the years but the hull hasn't... Jackshaft drive probably helps distribute weight more  evenly.
