Sold Tryst close to 4 years ago.... Really regretted it... Got her back a couple of weeks ago "on sale"... a little neglected, very dirty... she's coming back nice! I did the refit using the highest quality parts I could find... looks like it paid off, held up well! Good to be back on the board here.

Glad you got her back. She deserves a good home. The dark colors on your boat and just having the thunderbird emblem inspired me to repaint my the same way. My boat will be passed down to my kids someday but for now my wife and I enjoy her every chance we get

That's great! Yup, we missed her. Going in for a repaint this winter... same color, Awlgrip Corinthian Blue. Bottom will be redone with Vivid (non-copper) white.

Thats great to hear. I painted mine with Awlgrip Jet Black. I've had our boat for over 30 years and a couple of years ago I completely gutted the hull and rebuilt it. It is now converted into a center console from another 233 top cap that I found. As you know a boat is never done. Florida Sportsman liked it so much they aired it on their Project Dream Boat Show.

Nice! I like the Bracket w / OB on yours, beautiful boat... If I ever have a major engine or drive failure I'm going to go that route.

I converted my boat to an outboard with that custom made bracket in 1988. I never seen a 233 converted before mine but I went for it anyways. With all the added cockpit space I added a fold down back bench seat. The boat still kept its beautiful classic lines with the outboard on a bracket behind the boat. My boat rides and handles even better than it did before. Either way you have an awesome boat !
