More about your 233: Love the design of the hull. Boat was sitting under a tree full of leaves, it had been a fishing boat and a shrimp boat. The owner had health issues. I purchased the hull (no engines or outdrives). A new transom was installed and soft/rotten timber in floor replaced. Hull painted with Interlux Paint system. I scrounged a pair of outdrives dated Late 1970's No. 1's, Engines are the weak links dated 1968, no confidence in engines due to corrosion in water jackets over the last 4 decades, need a repower. Boat/hull overhaul completed 2004. The boat was operated inland only for 2 seasons. A that time the death of father and grand father caused loss of interest in the boat. She has a boat cover installed and lives in a covered shelter. She is started and run on the trailer, kept clean in hopes to someday repower.
