- I HAD MY FIRST 233 IN 1969...WITH 160'S MERCRUISERS...IT WAS AN ORANGEY/ RED BOAT WHICH WE RAN DEAD STANDARD IN THE SYDNEY TO NEWCASTLE OFFSHORE RACE WITH ALL THE BIG GUNS....ANYWAY WE WON OUR CLASS,A HARD,CHOPPY DAY,75 MILES STRAIGHT UP THE COAST...SOME DID NOT FINISH.....
