Hi!   Colin here.   What year is your Formula?    I have a 74......and I'm thinking about selling it.......painful to do..but?    Any idea where I could find some input on what I should ask for?    Thanks,Colin

Hi Collin;

It sounds like a great boat. Send me a list of what you intend to sell please. It is unfortunate that people don't recognize that these clasic Formulas perform at levels far exceding much newer and MUCH more expensive boats. I just finished restoring a 72 19ft. Thunderbird and excelent trailer, right down to new stainless nuts, bolts and washers. I bought it right, {third owner of the project} and have spent just shy of $4,000.00 dollars on it. I am now asking $4,900.00 for it and have only gotten one reply from a scammer. I will not give it away so one of my kids will probably end up with it. Just last week I put a deposit on a 76 233 Formula in an aged but fully functional and all original condition. Twin 165 Mercruisers, spare outdrive and had a test ride in her. SWEET!!! the asking price was $4,900.00 which I agreed to pay with no dickering. There are a lot of boats like this and from the sound of it, yours as well but...... People see the age and don't realize that to get what your boat can do they would have to buy at least 27ft. of boat and pay a lot more money. I am not rich and work for a living like most of us so I have to spend my money wisely. I work in Ak. for six months of the year and live in the Keys for the other money draining months, LOL. Toys are not selling well at all right now including motorcycles which i was dismayed to find out. I am interested in your boat for the Keys and my cuddy for Ak. and Prince William sound. Let me know exactly what you are selling and for how much. I will not bargain with you as to price. What you want is what you should get for her. My Email is chrislane4321@aol.com  I am looking forward to hearing from you soon as I will be on the road to Punta Gorda for a few days and then on the road back to Ak.
