Steve at Sugar City loves his opti,s but after having 4 strokes you.ll never go back to the noise and the smoke of 2 stroke especially with the optimax compressor noise. 250 is absolute minium HP and if your a speary like me you.ll know how much weight usually gets put on board with gear. We,ve done trials with 773 haines hunters between opti and verado and by the time you buy 2 stroke oil the running cost was exactly the same. Give me a call I can tell you heaps about these boats, ive had them a long time and with all types of engine configurations. 0400739181
Hey mate, just wondering if you were to restore another 233 what would you do? Single or twin outboard? 2 or 4 stroke? Hard top or canopy? Pod or transome notch? Keeping in mind I fish from just north of Haymen down to say just past of sarina with rods chasing sails/marlin tuna macs and also bottom bashing and pending vis and were I am spearing, so bit of everything. I only take 2 or 3 people with me
