Hi David. I only carried full tank under floor ( 400 lt ) for trip Welshpool to Launceston. After refuelling at Beauty Point in the Tamar, I carried another 50 lt for the run across the top of Tassy and down to Hobart. Refuelled at Bicheno ( 5 klms from wharf ),  then Triabunna (3 klms from wharf ), then Kettering ( fuel on wharf ), on to Port Huon then returned via Hobart back up the coast to wait for weather at Beauty Point for the crossing back to Victoria. The trip took 28 days and used fuel @ 1.32 lt / nautical mile.
