Hi Darren,  what's the fuel consumption like? ( at what speed ?) Are you happy with the performance and maintance costs etc. ?

I've got a friend with an old 225 Johnson on a similar boat to you; he is looking at a new motor . Did you buy locally or ex USA?

I'm running a 230 hp volvo diesel . Cruise at 25 knots @ 1.32 lts / nm. ( weather permitting )

at 26 knots I can travel 110nm on 160litres fuel, max speed is 42 knots. I am a Suzuki dealer so as you can guess I bought locally
