     I find myself in the enviable or unenviable position depending on your point of view. I have just purchased a 1976 Formula that I will be burried in if I have anything to say on that subject. LOL! The boat performs like new but is weather and sun beaten. I paid the man's price of $4,900.00 without negociating. It looks like the economy, age of these special boats and the propensity of owners, just like myself feel our boats are worth more than everyone else who isn't a 233 Formula person. I have just finished restoring a 1972 Thunderbird Apache,{Craigs list, Fl. Keys} that I replaced every system with brand new equipment I have been told I can't get more than $2,500.00 for because it is as old as it is and people in south Florida don't care for I/O power. I guess I'll have to use it as a casket cover someday as I will not give it away and I certainly expect the same of you. I will be in Punta Gorda on the 23rd. and would like to see your boat. How far away are you. I will not negociate your price as it is your boat. I will say based on my shopping experience that the estimated price sounds a little high, but depending on the equipment that may or may not come with her can make a difference.      I am leaving the house I have rented for the last several years due to the owners selling it and my heading back to Ak.
