Thanks for getting back to me. i can't check it out as I'm in san Diego. However, I may have a local surveyor give it a go over, understaning full well that it's a 1972 hull. I love those hulls, but have never owned one. It's my understanding that Formula made the 233F and the 233C in the early 70s - is that corrrect? I am interested in the 233 with the small cuddy, single I/O like yours. I have heard of owners installing the new 502 in those hulls, which would be my ultimate goal. Do you know if that's feasible? My plan is to restore the hull from bottom to top, including the replacement of the fuel tank. My biggest concern is dry rot in the cores, particularly the transon core, and delamination along the keel. Are there any significant areas of delamination in your hull? Would you be able to email me some additional photos? Thanks, Kevin. boldconsul@yahoo.com

Forgot to ask. If you know, is your model the F233 (not the open center console) or the sport cobvertible. Its my under standing that the sport convertible had a 2 ft longer bow deck and berths, but a 2 ft shorter working area in back. The bunks in the convertible are 8' 2" where the F233 the bunds are 6' 2". that's an easy way to tell. The F223 was also originally rigged for fishing, with a higher bow rail, where the sports convertible was not. Thanks, Kevin

You must have the fisherman cuddy or the "fabulousfisherman" a I think it was originally called. The rear area should measure 12' 7" from the cuddy bulkhead to the transon - the cuddy bunks are 6' 2". I am very interested in your boat, but I am searching for the "sports convertible" model, made from 1966 to about 1974ish. It has a 2 foot longer bow deck, bunks are 8'2" and the measurment from the cuddy to transom is 10'7". If your boat measures as the convertible, I'll buy it for sure!! Thanks, Kevin
