Working on glass, working on transom and reinforcing to stringers. Also purchased another formula 223 1978 for parts to swap out. Then I will be selling 78.
.....and I will be buying your 78! Glad to hear from you Jay! Hey, is your transom finished yet?? Hahahaaaaa!
This week I have been playing around in my spare time and I have already pulled most of the deck hardware, bow rail, windshield & frames, guages, switches, panels, etc. This weekend I will be unloading her from what's left of this trailer and putting her up on blocks. Then I have to run over to AAA and submit the transfer of ownership paperwork... After I get home, I'll slide the trailer out and donate it to "The cause." Hopefully I'll have time left to begin the work of pulling the fuel tank.
I'm still not 100% sure which direction I want to go with this renovation/restoration.... I am considering a center console with a bracket and twin outboards... Or a new deck with a big block Chevrolet and Bravo 1, or a new deck with a bracket and twin outboards..... Too many decisions! One thing is for sure, I wont be touching the bottom of the hull. I love the way this hull is designed and the way it looks and I dont want to take away from that. I guess I need to make up my mind along the way....
Anyhow, thank you for the friend request and for letting me rant this morning. Stay in touch and keep me motivated!
