Outstanding work Luis. What are your future plans for your hull? Did you have to do any work below the fuel tank? What was the condition of your tank? I have heard that many of the older hulls had foam around them and within 15-20 years they managed to rust and leak. Any idea what size we have? I can't seem to make out the number on my badge where the fuel enters the tank but I think it says 88 gallons but seems to me I have put more than that into it.
Eric
I hope to get started on a total restoration on mine within the next 2 seasons.
Hi, John Herrmann again that sent you a message before. Over the past 15 years, I have become very friendly with the Porter family and have a great interest in Formula's racing heritage. I love the 233 and would love to find out more about it and acquire one as soon as possible. If you have the time, I would love to hear all about your boat and how you came to own it.
