Formula 233 Registry

The premier site for owners of the famous 233.

Does any one know where I might find a reprint of my owners manual. Things like the proper way to trim my motor while underway,i have three buttons that i really dont know how to operate. How my lights are actually suppose to work and when.

My mast light has two bulbs but i can only get one of them to work... whats the purpose of the second bulb, rear visbility?

Your three trim buttons are; "IN" which is the bottom button and lowers the drive, "OUT" which is the middle button and raises the drive to a specified point (and that point is adjustable by means of the limit switches on the drive) and the top button is the "TRAILOR" button which raises the drive all the way up. Generally you will want your drive "tucked" (all the way down) when accelerating from a stop, then you raise it as the boat planes until you get the best combination of ride and efficiency.

Your mast light is designed to light the front light with running lights (bow lights) then both lights as anchor lighting (no bow lights). Your light switch is three position, "Off", "Running" and "Anchor".
Thanks David, you answered a lot of my questions with your reply. I will give them a try.
You are most welcome.
David, you mentioned something about a mast, i don't have one but i think now i know where it goes because i saw part of the base(in the middle of the windshield?) . How or where can i get one like that? Does it have to have two light bulbs?
