Formula 233 Registry

The premier site for owners of the famous 233.

I just took delivery of a restored 1967 F233 with a Stainless Marine Bracket and twin 2005 Etec 150's. It has 4 Blade Renegades on it (unknown size) and I hit 6500 at wide open throttle and only 48 MPH with a 5000 lb weight on Salt Water.

I just looked up the specs on the motor and redline appears to be 5,850 RPM's. I am surprised there isn't a rev limiter!

Any recommendations on props?

Thank you.

If you haven't already, I would take this question to thehulltruth.com and send this out there. There are a few guys on there who powered their boat the same and have seen in just shy of 60.

Thank you.

Brent at  B Blades can help you.

Thx.

I will look him up.
