Formula 233 Registry

The premier site for owners of the famous 233.

Was wondering where the sweet spots are on setting up the trailer for the Formula 233 I/O (1979) small block.

I may be picking up another Formula this weekend and I have a 5300# Load Rite roller trailer I just got for it.  It had a 24 OFFSHORE Grady White walk-around on it before and probably fits 22-25 foot boats.   I can TWEAK it later but I figured for now I should try and adjust everything as close as possible so she is not tail heavy or nose heavy.

Plus I want the roller carriages set right.

I do have my old Formula on a trailer now but she is an old lightly built bunk INBOARD trailer that is not as long and nearly as heavy.  Plus right now she is tail heavy.  So the axles need to be moved back.

Where should I start with putting the center of the two axles in relation to the transom ?   How far ideally should the transom hang over the last roller - a foot ?

Where are good spots for each roller to rest (top set and bottom set) on the hull ?

Any ideas where to get LOAD RITE replacement assemblies or just the rollers ?

 Thanks............ED.

  Any help greatly appreciated !
