hi dave, the pod cost $2900.00 fitted hoping to fit a 275 verado in the next few weeks. hope its enough power and preforms well.

Wow thats a good price for a quality pod. 275 should be enough i have seen these things with single 225 on them and they get 30 knots out of em.

Ian,  I'm considering building a fiberglass bracket for my 233.  Please give us some measurements on yours.  How far from boat transom is the back of the bracket?  What is the height of the top of the motor support above the center line of the hull?  What length or height motor did you install?
