This is a picture of screws removed once the West system epoxy dried. Notice my 4" scarf joint. That is the first time I ever made a scarf joint with a planer and sander. Takes a little patience, but got it done thanks to youtube.com providing help.

This is the first layer above. Need to put one more layer of 3/8" marine ply over this first layer.
