Things you did, didn't do, an things you would have changed on you 233 rebuild?
Just curious as to things you might have done different when you were rebuilding or restoring your 233. I am about to start with mine this fall an as I am trying to do all the research I can. I thought, what about the guys who have done the work an are now enjoying thier rewards. What would you have done different or not done at all?

Instead of replacing the cockpit carpet I would have put in non skid with snap in carpets (even though I don't fish, I like the look and it's much easier to clean)

I plan on running the original twin 6's, I think they will be dependable. I am looking to do mostly fishing, with the occational family days. I don't need the speed. The motors have rebuild id tags from 91' but I am missing both outdrives.
